What are wireframes and how are they used in the design process?

The wireframes are low-fidelity representations of a website or app’s interface or they can be explained as a visual representation of an outline of a web page or application. Designers use wireframes as a blueprint for the design process and use them also for planning and communicating the placement of elements, content hierarchy, and user flow.
